Job Description


Responsible for Mobile Data Cards Administration, allocations, setup and support.  This includes but not limited to 3G, 4G, LTE Routers for end users and Branch failover.

Administrator of Telephone Managed System (TMS).  Working close with Pure Connect Administrator to ensure accurate allocation of telephony usage in the Bank.

Administrator of Asset Management System, maintaining and provide end user support.  Responsible for monthly IT Stock Audits.

Responsible for Software License Management.  Configuring and maintaining of African Bank Software licenses.

To set up and configure Endpoint Devices such as Desktops, and Laptops for African Bank. Building of Images according to IT standards, policies and user specifications.

Installing and configure Applications and Software as per African Bank standards and policies.

Assisting and supply knowledge transfer to Desktop Technicians, Service Desk and end users where needed

Assisting other Administrators with special projects such as desktop refreshes.

Build Vendor relationships and enforce Vendor SLAs.

Provide Monthly reports

Write works-instructions and SOPs to simplify Support and enhance self-help.

Innovation to enhance above processes and policies.

Job Requirements


MINIMUM EDUCATION

Grade 12,
Certificate in A+, N+, MCSA or other IT Certification such as Security+, Mobile+.Or
Diploma/Degree in IT.
PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION

Grade 12
Certificate in A+, N+, MCSA, Mobile+
Or
Diploma/Degree in IT.
Knowledgeable on Mobility
MSCE 2012, Active Directory, McAfee,
Certification in 3RD Party Applications
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

4 Years working experience in Endpoint/Mobile Administration fulfilling Main Job Requirements.
PREFERRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

6 years working experience in Endpoints/Mobile Administration

KEY RESULT AREAS

Mobile DATA Cards and Telephone Billing Administration and Support

Mobile Data Cards Administration, allocations, setup and support.
This includes but not limited to 3G, 4G, LTE Routers for end users and Branch failover
Attend to all required installations, configuration of Mobile Data Card applications on endpoints and ensure APN configurations done by Network department.
Ensure timelines are met with Mobile Card Requests.
Perform frequent auditing functions to ensure all stock is accounted for.
Build Vendor relationships and enforce Vendor SLAs.
Provide Monthly reports on usage and with the assistance of the Vendors present cost saving initiatives to the direct manager.
Write works-instructions and SOPs to simplify Support and enhance self-help.
Innovation to enhance above processes and policies.
Report any discrepancies to the direct manager.
Telephone Billing on TMS system Administration and Support
Software License Management

Administrative tasks of Endpoints – Manage the Software licensing tool and software usage.
Maintain the deployment of Managed Engine Agents software to the Desktops to provide the correct software asset information
Good understanding of Microsoft Software Licensing.
Build and maintain the Software License environment on Managed Engine which include adding Software Contracts and linking Licenses to those contracts.  Includes third party applications.
Creation of software groups and linking of departments and users to those groups.
Setup alerts to notify of application renewals.
Work close with Architecture for new software approvals or declines.
Understanding of all approved Software and can assist with installations, upgrades, configuration, maintenance and fixing of required applications to approved specifications and functionality.
Provide reports.
Build relationship with Software suppliers and Vendors.
Administrator of Asset Management System

Assist with updating and maintaining of Assets on the Asset Management System – creating of new models/types/groups/ etc.
Escalate System issues to Developers/Vendor.
Responsible for monthly IT Stock Audits.
Provide end user support.
Supply knowledge transfer to Co-workers and helpdesk where applicable.
Create reports when requested.
