Core Job Purpose The incumbent will work in the Faculty of Education at the Nelson Mandela University and contribute primarily towards the following aspects of the TVET project, a job which requires office administration, which includes:
- The setting up of an effective filing system and dealing with face-to-face, telephonic and email queries.
- Maintaining and efficient and effective administrative environment.
- Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders from the TVET sector, including Chambers of Business, Commerce and Industry.
- Dealing with student queries, which include recording and monitoring updates to student database on the ITS system (marks and records).
- Contributing to project development through the various internet and media platforms.
- Carrying out other specific TVET-related projects/duties as specified by the line manager.

Minimum Requirements - Excellent communication skills
- Grade 12 Certificate with a 3 year qualification, preferably in the field of Office Administration.
- At least 2-5 years experience in a similar role
