Job Description The MWEB Product, Sales and Marketing division in Cape Town currently has a vacancy for a Field Sales Representative who will be reporting to the Field Sales Manager. Field Sales Representatives will be responsible for acquiring new customers through direct marketing channels selling MWEB’S Fibre to the Home (FTTH) and ADSL products.
Duties & Responsibilities • Achieve sales targets and objectives through Field Sales initiatives
• To acquire new customers through cold calling, door to door visits and appointment setting
• To provide exceptional service and product knowledge on a variety of MWEB Connect products
• Ensure that quality assurance is maintained
• Ensure all relevant documentation is compiled and completed accurately as per sales process
• Keep abreast with the latest technology and packages on offer
• Drive sales in Fibre to the Home areas according to new acquisition sales plan
• Ability to use different business development tactics to create new business opportunities through independent prospecting.
• Represent the company at networking, activations and other industry-related functions.

Qualifications and experience required • Must have Matric
• Own, reliable, transport and valid driver’s license essential (Non-negotiable)
• A minimum of 2 years field/cold calling sales experience
• Proven field/cold calling sales track record preferable
• Knowledge of the ISP/IT industry and products desirable
• Customer service experience
• Experience in telecoms industry preferable
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
