Requirement Overview Paarl Labels Packaging Gravure is looking to appoint an experienced Stores Assistant. The successful incumbent must have previous stores experience and will report to the Production Manager: Packaging gravure. This position will be based in Montague Gardens.
Key Duties & Responsibilities • Inspecting, checking and recording quantities of all stock received
• Sorts, mark and places materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined product stock code sequence
• Maintaining effective stock control at all times to ensure accurate inventory records
• Cycle counts to ensure correlation between stock on the floor and Radius system
• Organizing the warehouse in a way that existing inventory is easily and safely accessible and clearly identifiable
• Scheduling deliveries and planning the routes in a way that will meet delivery time constraints
• Ensuring good housekeeping within the warehouse to provide a safe, professional environment
• Maintains ISO compliancy
• File copies of waybills, packing slips, transfers and other documents as required
• Ensure the timeous and correct completion of all administration in respect of deliveries
• Operate forklift to load and offload trucks
• Willingness to work overtime if and when required
Educational Requirements • Grade 12 or equivalent
• Computer literate - Microsoft Office, Radius system or QTMS system
Experience Requirements • 2-3 year’s relevant stores or warehouse experience in the FMCG or print/flexible packaging industry environment

• Ability to multitask under pressure
• Forklift license essential
• Good interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Highly driven and motivated
• High caliber of integrity
• Ability to work without close supervision
