The South African Bank Note Company (Pty) Ltd (SABN) is a world-class security printing company, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the South African Reserve Bank, and is responsible for printing bank notes for South Africa.

Detailed Description

SABN seeks to offer Apprenticeship training programme to exceptional academic performers, with high level of integrity, determination and teamwork. This opportunity will offer the successful candidates with training to be able to print products, monitoring the quality of the product, testing of raw materials, setting up and maintaining of printing presses.

Job Requirements


·        Technical qualification in lithography and or

·        Matric with Science and Maths

Work Experience

·    Exposure in a Printing Environment (Added advantage)

Knowledge, Skills and ability

·      Ability to understand and follow processes and procedures

·      Ability to understand and grasp complex ideas and methodologies

·      Understand, enjoy, match and experiment with a variety of colours

·      Good physical eyesight, mental and physical health

·      Innovative, artistic, creative and meticulous

·      Mechanical comprehension

Applicants must be prepared to work in a production environment and enjoy working with and be surrounded by machinery.
